App Privacy Policy

Montfort takes seriously the privacy of those that use our apps. We have established this Privacy Policy to communicate what information we collect and how that information is used and safeguarded.

By accessing using the app or any Montfort websites, you acknowledge the terms and conditions expressed herein. We reserve the right to change this policy at our sole discretion and without notice.

What information is collected?

When a user uses an app, we collect information about the usage that does not identify the user personally. We track information such as the domain from which the user is operating, device type and operating system etc. We also collect specific information regarding the user's activities. This includes items such as the date and time of the invocation, screens viewed and features used.

When a user decides to sign in in order to upload test results data to Montfort servers for analysis, we require only email address as personally identifiable information (PII), in order to associate that data with the user it belongs to. In this case the user is usually a physician or nurse and the test results are measured on another person (a.k.a “Patient”), who is not directly an app user. For patient's privacy we use pseudonymization technique, by providing unique code for each patient that cannot be traced back to the person by Montfort, only by the physician (the user) him/herself.

Upon registration, a user can choose to provide optiona PII items like name, title and phone number.

Montfort does not collect any personally identifiable financial or health-related information. We do not intentionally collect information from children under the age of 13.

How is the information used?

Non-personally identifiable information (non-PII) is collected to allow us to analyze how our apps are used and to improve the service and usability of our apps.

Personally identifiable information is collected to enable the services we provide the user, like sending back test results analysis outcomes.

Montfort owns the collected information and will not sell, trade, or rent the information to others. We may use the information to continue contact with the user. This may include contact such as follow-up calls, e-mail correspondence, or mail correspondence to follow-up on the contact or to provide marketing information about promotions, new services, or important service changes. We will never share your information without explicit permission.

How is personally identifiable information safeguarded?

Montfort utilizes industry standard methods and mechanisms within cloud providers (Microsoft Azure and AWS). Data is stored in databases secured with strong passwords and encrypted in transfer and at rest. Finally, access to PII is limited to a small number of personnel and on a need-to-know basis.
