Montfort servers for analysis, we require only email address as
personally identifiable information (PII), in order to associate that
data with the user it belongs to. In this case the user is usually a
physician or nurse and the test results are measured on another
person (a.k.a “Patient”), who is not directly an app
user. For patient's privacy we use pseudonymization technique, by
providing unique code for each patient that cannot be traced back to
the person by Montfort, only by the physician (the user) him/herself.

How is personally identifiable information
utilizes industry standard methods and mechanisms within cloud
providers (Microsoft Azure and AWS). Data is stored in databases
secured with strong passwords and encrypted in transfer and at rest.
Finally, access to PII is limited to a small number of personnel and
on a need-to-know basis.
